today is now - uno

so, I'm going to try and start a new segment on GH every week where I post a nice little playlist of songs that i think are deserving of your attention. We'll see how it goes. Maybe (hopefully) every miercoles. This week includes some of my current favés like Washed Out and the xx. It's still a little hazy and summery, mainly because it's still hot as shit here.

Also, I've come across some awesome mid-century advertisements. I want to plaster them all over my walls. Check em out. Sorry, not very clever today.

From the disgusting food to the school I taught at (lovingly nicknamed 'Little Bosnia'), I can't help but get a little teary-eyed. So, while you're spending your saturday dicking around youtube too, remember the simpler times...

cruel verano

I've decided that I'm over summer. Everyone I know is getting all color and bothered. Everything is better in the fall: weather, clothes, televison-- I can't think of anything else, but that's all that matters anyway.

Through my keen senses of observation I have also noticed that summer makes everyone bored and mean. So, this goes out to y'all
